Finding new music these days is so much easier than it was 10 years ago thanks to the internet . And thanks to MTV who once played nothing but music, now occasionally show a new artist’s music. The newest one is a band called White Arrows originated in Los Angles , they bring out an east coast version of Vampire Weekend. Don’t worry these guys are stepping out of their local California scene, they played Washington’s Sasquatch Music Festival and also sharing some select dates with these bands Airborne Toxic Event, Cults and Those Darlins.

Mickey Schiff of White Arrows was born legally blind until regaining his sight at eleven years old. After studying ritualistic shamanism at NYU Schiff moved back to LA forming White Arrows with his brother Henry. Little did the brothers know that their childhood friend J.P Caballero was literally family ,courtesy of their dad’s sperm donation. Don’t let their story fool you, their music is worth your ears time.
